Our client, a prestigious international banking institution is looking for a dynamic and experienced and professional Cash Operations Associate.
Duties:
- Perform operational processing tasks in Compliance with the banks corporate requirements and local regulations as required to provide the GTB Cash Products to GTB customer base, e.g.
- Processingrepair of incoming domestic and XB payments
-Input repair verification of all outgoing domesticXB customer payments (received manually, via SWIFT or electronic banking)
- Management of signature verification process
- Conducting investigations concerning domesticXB payments where required in co-operation with other commercial banks
- Management of filtering process for domestic payments
- Processing of customer related commissions and charges
- Processing of XB and domestic cheques
- Processing/repair of domestic direct debits, including the management of administrative tasks (mandates and related documents, etc)
- Processing of OUR charges requests
- Internal and Nostro account reconciliation.
- Perform control functions in accordance with local regulatory and corporate requirements.
- Work closely with other OPS departments, to ensure a competent and professional execution of transactions
- Coordinate and participate in UAT testing for technical system upgrades and enhancements relevant to Cash Operations for the Riyadh branch
- To review BRDs for system enhancements
- Perform Cash Operations-related local regulatory reporting, if required
- Payment/Cheque Operations - Non-Processing Tasks
- Be responsible for day-to-day smooth running of operational activities related to Cash Operations in order to provide high quality operational services and to comply with applicable banks policies and SAMA regulations in force
- Develop, review and update Key Operating Procedures
- Maintain required controls within department (strict compliance to SAMA regulation, including relevant reporting, etc., compliance to corporate policies and requirements)
- Prepare department's operational statistics/volumes allocations (MIS reporting)
- Conduct Cash Operations-related training to possible newcomers
- Optimize department's processes in order to make them more efficient (cost saves, error reductions, increasing customers' satisfaction)
- Cooperate with other bank departments on complex issue resolution and process improvements
- Participate in certain projects, e.g. system enhancements, new client and product set up
