Looking for Chef, with International Cuisine Exp.

We are looking for Chef with at least 5 years of experience in preparing International Cuisine at 4 star Hotels / Restaurant or in Industrial catering environment. The ideal candidate should have experience of providing catering services in remote sites with responsibility of serving 3 meals a day for more than 500 people. The key job responsibilities will include:
- Ensure that food production is completed in line with daily menu cycles and in sufficient quantities to meet the projected client attendance numbers
- Ensure that operations are in accordance with all company quality system procedures
- Responsible for the quality of daily food production
- Follow standard recipes at all times and control the use of food rations and ingredients in line with the appropriate recipes
- Minimise food wastage by correct use of Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP) controlled recovery procedures
- Ensure that international standards of food hygiene and HACCP are followed at all times - Ensure the security of all company and client owned assets, report any damages and losses to the head chef
- Monitor pest control and report any case of detection to head chef Knowledge - Internationally recognized certificate in catering studies
- Good verbal and written English language
- Basic Food Hygiene (intermediate an advantage)
- Currently hold a valid Fit to Handle Food Certificate.
The candidate should also have Good interpersonal skills / client facing skills, ability to communicate with team members and positively influence the catering workforce and ability to react to changing priorities, high workloads and achieve time sensitive requests at short notice. The experience of Stock utilization and Portion Control, Knowledge of Health and Safety relating to catering operations, Working knowledge of HACCP is a must. Salary offered is AED 8000 + Accommodation + Transportation.
